AP CALCULUS AB 2019-2020

Acknowledgments
This calculus class uses a standards-based structure and a problem-based learning (PBL) approach which is designed to prepare students for the Advanced Placement Calculus AB exam. These standards were created starting with the College Board's AP Calculus AB "Course Outline." Standards developed and graciously shared with me by Taylor Gibson at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics were used in 2017-2018. Also considered were personal curriculum materials developed for the Virginia Association of Independent Schools accreditation process and the AP audit, as well as the structure and organization of the current textbook in use,
Calculus, 7th edition (e-version), by Hughes-Hallett et al. In summer 2019 the Standards were re-aligned to the current AP Calculus AB framework.
